Your energy and time are sacred and are your most valuable resources, and you should treat them with respect and reverence.

I feel that nowadays, people give out so much of themselves willingly. In this day and age, people are open to experiencing the experience. Living in the present is a beautiful thing, but only when you are also taking accountability for your actions and your own life.

Your energy is your life force. Do you know how sacred that is? It is what drives you and allows you to do the things you love. When you are feeling energized, you are more productive, creative, and happy. However, when you are feeling drained, it can be difficult to do anything at all.

Your time is also precious. It is a finite resource that you can never get back. Once you have spent time on something, or in most cases, someone, it is gone forever. That is why it is so important to use your time wisely. To use your time for the things and people you love.

If you want to live a happy and fulfilling life, it is important to protect your energy and time. Here are a few tips for doing just that:

  • Say no to things that don’t serve you. One of the best ways to protect your energy is to learn to say no. If you are constantly overextending yourself, you will eventually burn out. It is okay to say no to things that you don’t have time for, or that don’t align with your values.
  • Set boundaries. It is also important to set boundaries in your relationships. Let people know what you are and are not willing to do. If you don’t set boundaries, people will take advantage of you, and trust me, they will.
  • Take care of yourself. Make sure you are getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods, and exercising regularly. When you take care of yourself, you have more energy to do the things you love.
  • Spend time with people who make you happy. Surround yourself with positive people who lift you up. Avoid people who drain your energy or make you feel bad about yourself, trust me, it’ll be all worth it when you eliminate toxic ass people from your life.
  • Do things that you enjoy. Make sure you are making time for the things that you love to do. This could be spending time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies, or relaxing. When you do things that you enjoy, you will feel happier and more fulfilled.

Your energy and time are sacred. Treat them as such, and you will live a happier and more fulfilling life.

In addition to the tips above, here are a few more specific things you can do to protect your energy and time:

  • Schedule regular breaks. When you are working on a task, take a break every 20-30 minutes to stand up, move around, and stretch. This will help you stay focused and avoid burnout.
  • Delegate tasks. If you have too much on your plate, don’t be afraid to delegate tasks to others. This will free up your time so you can focus on the things that are most important to you.
  • Say no to distractions. When you are working on something important, turn off your phone, close your email, and focus on the task at hand. Distractions will only take away from your productivity.
  • Take time for yourself. It is important to schedule time for yourself each day, even if it is just for a few minutes. This could be time to read, meditate, or do something else that you enjoy. Taking time for yourself will help you recharge and come back to your work refreshed.

Again…your energy and time are precious. Be mindful of what you do and who you choose to give your energy and time to because it is not made for everyone and everything.
